It is far too easy to become consumed by the responsibilities and distractions that clutter our daily lives. Moments slip away, opportunities pass us by, and we find ourselves disconnected from the beauty that surrounds us. The impact landscape photography has given me has been profound.  It has not only transformed my perspective on photography, but it has also reshaped my outlook on life itself. Through the lens of a camera, I have come to appreciate one of the simplest and most fundamental aspects of existence. Time.

Under the vast expanse of the night sky, I have patiently waited, eyes fixed upon the heavens, as meteor showers painted streaks of brilliance across the darkness. Countless times, I have watched in awe as hundreds of meteors blazed their trails, only to capture a handful on my camera. In those moments, I learned of seizing the perfect fraction of a second, and of synchronizing my actions with nature's rhythms. I have chased countless sunrises. Each time, I have set out on a quest to capture the vibrant colors that paint the horizon, there have been instances when sleep has gotten the best of me, causing me to miss those magic hours when the world is bathed in golden colors. Through these missed opportunities, I have come to understand the value of each passing minute, and the significance of being present in the moment. Among each years  autumn foliage, I have traveled to immortalize nature's breathtaking display. Yet, the demands of life have intruded, forcing me to divert my attention elsewhere. In those moments, as I beheld nature's splendor slipping away, I felt immense regret. It was a reminder of how easily we allow time to be stolen from us, overshadowed by the busyness of our lives. Time is a resource to be cherished, respected, and protected.

Time, ultimately, is the elusive thread that weaves through our existence. It is a priceless gift that should never be taken for granted or squandered thoughtlessly. By immersing myself in the world of photography, I have discovered a great respect for time: its fleeting nature, its priceless value, and its constant abuse in a world obsessed with haste. Every click of my shutter serves as a reminder to savor the present, to be mindful of the beauty that surrounds me, and to capture fragments of time that will never be repeated.

Time is limited. Time is abused. Time is underrated.
