Photography has truly transformed my life, opening doors to several opportunities and taking me on unique journeys.  I have ventured into diverse and captivating environments that were once far beyond my confidence. The ability to capture raw emotions, fleeting moments, and beautiful landscapes has been an experience that I cherish deeply. It brings me immense joy to know that my photographs have the power to preserve cherished memories and offer different perspectives of some of their favorite places. This connection, the opportunity to be the storyteller behind my camera, fills my heart with gratitude.

This is a website just as much as it is a story.

Schenectady Firefighters Cancer Foundation

I work extremely closely with the Schenectady Firefighters Cancer Foundation, an organization that is dedicated to supporting firefighters impacted by cancer. They have provided me with a unique opportunity to become actively involved within the firehouse, which I am profoundly grateful for. I hold this organization very close to my heart as I have personally connected with so many different Schenectady Firefighters and their families over the years, especially after growing up in and around the firehouse. I have had the honor of meeting three separate generations of dedicated firefighters. Unfortunately, I have also had the privilege of knowing several firefighters who passed away far too early due to the devastating effects of cancer. Currently, I help spread the important message of this wonderful organization in the best way I know how—through my creative freedom in social media posts, as well as my photography work. While I know it is a small role, it contributes to a much larger and meaningful cause that is so important to me. I’m glad to be part of it!

Flutters of Hope

My good friend John hosts a run in the fall on Peebles Island. Let me tell you, this is some of the most fun I have ever had doing photography. I tell him this all of the time. The people there were so kind and fun to be around. Everyone was in good spirits.

Run 4 Your Life 5k 2023

Back in 2023, I had the distinct privilege of serving as the official photographer for the 14th Anniversary of the Run 4 Your Life 5k event. This annual charity run/walk is organized by the Schenectady Firefighter’s Cancer Foundation. The event aims to provide crucial support to firefighters and their families who are facing the challenges of a cancer diagnosis. Being part of such a meaningful occasion was an incredible opportunity for me to diversify my photography portfolio and to capture the spirit of community engagement and resilience.

Soccer Shoot

A friend of mine from high school reached out to me with the request to capture some memorable moments from a local soccer club that he was both coaching and actively participating in. Although I had never taken any sports photography photos before, I found it to be an incredibly enriching learning experience. I felt truly honored that he chose to contact me for this unique opportunity to document the game and the passion of the players involved.

Promotional Photography

Through my work with the cancer foundation I have created multiple different promotional photos. This is an area that I would certainly like to improve. Through this experience I have learned a great deal about social media and marketing. It’s an interesting world to deep dive into but I have enjoyed it.

Odds & Ends

I truly just love photography as a whole. I try to practice and improve as much as I can. Whether it’s using my own cats as models or just finding whatever I can possibly find to shoot. I love the experience. I love creating. I love being able to showcase what I love. It’s an area in my life that I am so infatuated with.
